Services
COMMUNITY SERVICES BLOCK GRANT
CSBG is designed to alleviate the causes and conditions of poverty in communities by helping families have increased self-sufficiency, improved living conditions, pride in their communities, and strong family support systems. Services are provided that address employment, education, income management, housing, emergency services, and/or health.
LOW-INCOME HOME ENERGY ASSISTANCE PROGRAM
LIHEAP assists low-income households with immediate and emergency home energy needs. NFCAA makes direct payments to utility companies when a family does not have the funds and is in danger of having their electricity disconnected.
WEATHERIZATION ASSISTANCE PROGRAM
WAP helps lower utility costs by replacing or repairing elements of the home that contribute to energy waste. This program is income based with priority given to seniors, people with disabilities and households with children.
